Nonprofit Alliance and partners provide two capacity building pooled funds for Calhoun county nonprofits.

 Nonprofit Alliance-Capacity Building Fund Grants

Is your organization struggling with information technology? Is there training that you wish your staff could attend? Do you wish you had a stronger marketing strategy? The Capacity Building Fund can help contribute to increased efficiency and effectiveness for Battle Creek organizations, by strengthening performance and impact. The funds are made available through a partnership between Nonprofit Alliance, Battle Creek Community Foundation, Miller Foundation, United Way of Greater Battle Creek, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and Michigan Nonprofit Association. Funding: Up to $5,000. Deadlines: Applications are due the 1st of each month. Contact: Kimberlee Andrews-Bingham. 

Greater Calhoun County Capacity Building Pooled Fund
In partnership with the Community Foundation Alliance of Calhoun County, Albion Community Foundation, Marshall Community Foundation, Athens Area Community Foundation, Homer Area Community Foundation, Michigan Nonprofit Association, Nonprofit Alliance would like to announce capacity building grant opportunities for nonprofits in Calhoun. Similar to the CBPF in Battle Creek, this pooled fund focuses on the rural areas of Calhoun County. The next deadline is July 1. There is no upper limit for money requested, although each application will be reviewed by committee and there are limited funds. For an application or questions, please contact Kimberlee Andrews-Bingham.
