Under the direction of the Life Recovery Program Coordinator, the LRP Assistant will demonstrate and ensure that professionalism, safety, respect, policies, and rules and regulations for co-workers and LRP students are maintained at all times.  Daily duties include, but are not limited to the Responsibilities/Essential Functions listed below: In agreement with Haven’s Faith-based Mission Statement; Must demonstrate integrity and good moral character; A minimum of an Associate's Degree; Direct experience or college coursework with substance abuse treatment; Understanding of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Ability to be an aggressive self starter and work independently with minimal supervision from the LRP Coordinator; Ability to follow written and oral instructions; Ability to appropriately handle emergency situations; Must have competent computer and data entry skills; Able to work with sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality; and a Valid Driver's License.  Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Assist with intake and exit evaluations on all clients entering and leaving the Life Recovery Program; Ensure client rules and guidelines are upheld with good judgment; Complete all paperwork by the end of your shift; Assist the LRP Coordinator in planning and fulfilling activities during program times; Communicate relevant information with the LRP Coordinator necessary for effective decision making; Work harmoniously and cooperatively with co-workers to develop a positive team spirit that promotes professional personal growth and pride; Perform other duties as assigned by the LRP Coordinator.  Good benefits package.  Please no phone calls - email a cover letter and resume to admin@thehavenbc.org, or mail to The Haven, Attention LRP Coordinator, 11 Green Street, Battle Creek, MI  49014
