Legislative Advocacy

Annually,  Nonproft Alliance partners with the United Way of Greater Battle Creek, Battle Creek Community Foundation and area nonprofits to host a Legislative Breakfast as an opportunity for local, county, state and federal elected officials to learn more about the work, concerns, benefits and successes of the nonprofit sector in Calhoun County.  The 5th annual Legislative Breakfast was held on March 25, 2011 from 8-9:30 a.m. at Starr Commonwealth in Albion.
